Velmo is a short-term rental management service. We manage vacation rentals and communicate directly with our guests about their stays. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Reservation information for the rentals we manage, including a guest's name and mobile number, which the guest provides when booking.
• Property details for the rentals we manage.
• Messages we exchange directly with our guests.

How we use information

We use this information to manage the guest's stay: scheduling cleanings and maintenance, generating per-stay access codes, and sending and receiving text messages directly with the guest about their stay (check-in details, property information, support, and optional add-ons).

Mobile information and text messaging

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; information collected as part of the Velmo text-messaging program — including a guest's mobile number and their consent — will not be shared with any third parties. Message and data rates may apply. Guests can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us operate (for example, messaging and hosting providers) and only as needed to provide the service. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share guest mobile opt-in information with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.
